Tudor Gradinariu, DO

Dr. Tudor Gradinariu’s journey in medicine began at a young age. Born into a family of doctors and medical providers he was immersed in the language and science of caring for people. An only child he moved from his family’s home in Romania to Lyon, France at 5 years old then immigrated with his parents to Colorado Springs at age 10 where he grew up in the beautiful Rockies playing near clear rushing streams in the crisp mountain air.

Dr. Gradinariu (pronounced Gra-din-a-riu) earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (with minors in French and Psychology) from Boston University where he was in the honors program. After graduating, he went on to attend medical school at Rocky Vista University from 2012-2016 and then to Palmetto General Hospital for training in Internal Medicine in Hialeah, Florida from 2016-2019. In 2021 he joined Fort Worth Renal Group after finishing his fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital Nephrology in Detroit, Michigan. His article Sodium-Based Osmotherapy in Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy: A Mathematical Approach appeared in Kidney360 in February 2020. His interests include CRRT, Dysnatremias, Hepatorenal Syndrome, and Dialysis Access Management.  He is board certified in ABIM for Internal Medicine and belongs to the AMA, AOA, ACP, and ASN.

Dr. Gradinariu believes in providing energy, leadership and excellence to modern medical care. His passion is taking care of nephrology patients. In his spare time, he enjoys international travel, visiting micro-breweries, working out and is our very own speed demon as he loves alpine skiing.
