Maritza Seidel is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) joining Fort Worth Renal Group in December 2021, where she partners with the renal care team to evaluate and manage kidney conditions across the continuum of care. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Fayetteville Technical Community College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude, and her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care at Texas Woman’s University. Maritza brings 12 years of clinical nursing experience to her role, including seven years in the surgical trauma intensive care unit (STICU) at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth and five years in cardiac step-down nursing.
A Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) with ACLS and BLS certifications, Maritza is bilingual in English and Spanish, helping more Fort Worth patients understand their care in their own language. Her critical-care foundation supports patients managing kidney disease at every stage, focused on the whole picture, not just the lab results, and on what happens next.
